As many of the best courses do, we end with a par 5 and this is a great place to decide a match. A fade is required from the tee, where unusually for a par 5, accuracy is more important than distance. A low, running second shot will make good progress and hopefully reach the green, once there; you’ll enjoy putting out in front of the welcoming club house.
Pro's Tip
“The middle fairway bunker is the line off the tee but use caution as the ball may run further than expected. The strategy with the second shot is important as to how you score on this hole. Longer hitters may decide to go for the green or lay up short of the left hand fairway bunker to leave a short pitch to the green.”
